Add / Edit Debt
Debts sharing the same Category auto-group under a header (e.g. Vehicle groups Truck + SUV). Log payments on the Transactions tab as type Debt Payment.
How Debt Tracking Works
1
Add a debt with its original amount and current balance. Category groups debts together (e.g. Vehicle).
2
Log payments on the Transactions tab — set type to Debt Payment, category to your debt group, subcategory to the specific debt name.
3
Balance counts down automatically from opening balance as payments are logged. Progress bar fills to 100% when paid off.

Add Rule Manually

If a description contains the keyword, it auto-categorizes on import and entry.

Amount Condition (optional — leave blank to match any amount)
How It Works
Manually adding a transaction auto-creates a rule for that merchant.
On CSV import, every row is matched against rules and auto-categorized.
Matching is case-insensitive — "mcdonald" matches "McDonald's #1234".
Add an amount condition to a rule to split by price — e.g. "insurance" under $200 = car, over $200 = house.
Apply Rules to All on the Transactions tab reruns rules on existing data.
Auto-learned rules are tagged auto
